Steffi Pieters has been living in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Peru for almost four years now. She had been to Peru before as a tourist, when she was traveling as a backpacker through several Latin American and African countries. 
Deciding to leave her birth country, Belgium, was a way to create a more healthy, slow-paced and natural lifestyle that she feels connected with and that helps her thrive as a clinical-holistic psychologist and intuitive artist.

In the womb of the Andean mountains, she leads a simple life close to mother nature. Going to the local market where you can buy directly from the farmers, living more in the present moment, and having a deeper sense of community, are some of the most important factors she has found to colour her life in the Valley. 
She has also traveled a bit in Peru and has felt a similar warmth and sense of belonging in other places.
