We are Marc and Paulette. We moved from California to Mexico in 2019 after retiring. We visited Spain, Portugal and Ecuador as possible places to retire to and while they are amazing countries Mexico stole our hearts. There are so many things to explore and experience. We’ve done it all from getting residency, buying a home, buying a car, traveling to many different cities and learning about the culture and people. 

There is a climate here for everyone from beaches to tropical mountain regions. There are areas of soft landings (areas of high expat populations) and areas where you’ll be totally immersed in the culture and traditions of Mexico.

Mexico is great about preserving it culture and history as reflected in the many cultural celebrations and cultural traditions to exploring historic buildings still in use after 400 years. 

As a couple who’s lived through the challenges of Mexico from the day to day things we have a lot of experience with living in Mexico. We’ve developed an understanding of Mexico and have helped people to adjust to a different life style here. We have learned that adjusting to a new culture can be difficult at times but that’s far outweighed by what we’ve gained in an understanding of the history, culture and the new friends we’ve made. It has been a rewarding experience that is priceless.
